Once Human

Flickering water/ground textures since new update ?
Since new Update, when standing at a sea or lake, some ground and distant ground textures starting to flicker. Especially those who have direct light on it. When you move up your camera a bit, it stops.

Everything worked fine until this Update. So I assume its some kind of bug ?

It's not all the time but yes, I did see this a couple of times. On the good side though, no lag spikes so far. I can even summon combat pet and vehicle without stopping and waiting.

Yes, sometimes it happens, sometimes not. And only in connction with water, doesn't happen anywhere else for me like in forest areas or dessert.

Same here regarding lag & spikes :steamthumbsup:

I have the same problem, textures flicker, glow when the camera is rotated

There is also a shimmer of water. It is very annoying. Changing the graphics settings to medium solves the problem, but high and ultra high give a flicker.

got the same Problem. Having a 4090 and have to set graphic on medium seems so wrong

Thanks, having it on medium will feel meh, but if it stops the flickering I am all for it.
Rather have lower graphics than annoying flickers.

If you encounter this is a specific area, best thing I think to do is jot down the coordinates on your map and give specific detail to the devs.

Had some flickering as well. but my cause might've been different.

I've got a 144 Hz screen and ingame you only got 120 fps or unhinged as graphic settings (like it goes up to 200+ fps). In Nvidia config you can set OnceHuman.exe settings like an amount of FPS that matches your monitor. Put the ingame graphic on max FPS. Since then i got 144 stable FPS and no flickering on highest settings.

Also if anyone else noticed and first of all HAS Rivatuner, for me it does not pop up in the game anymore.
If someone else has this issue, please lmk if you got a fix.

So I was playing around with settings and here on my end, going back on DX11 somehow resolved the flickering issues.

Directx11 with Image Enhancement set to OFF (no DLSS/FSR) fixed the flickering for me. Hopefully they will fix this bug soon.
