PvE and PvP exclusive seasons?

I am a little confused. I know there are PvP and PvE servers, but recently got to know that Once Human Season 2 will be PvP exclusive and no new PvE servers until Halloween.

I tried looking up on the internet but nothing is clear on what is going to happen. I am on a PvE server right now, in Phase 4, so two more weeks before I will move to another server.

I have never played PvP (barring the Cargo event on PvE server) so I do not know how punishing a PvP server is. I would prefer to move to a PvE server so that I don't lose my gear/weapons to a random gank squad.

Does anyone know if we'll get PvE servers at all? And how punishing is a PvP server, can I just avoid PvP altogether?

Level = difficulty of server

You are now on:
Scenario = Manibus
Level = Novice

You have a choice during phase 6 to go to
Scenario = Manibus
Level = Normal or Hard

In October 2024, you would have additional choice of:
Scenario = Way of Winter
Level = ? (I will assume "Novice")

The above is for PVE.



For PVP, if I am not wrong:

Scenario = Evolution's Call
Difficulty = Novice

At phase 6, choice of
Scenario = Evolution's Call
Difficulty = Normal or Hard

OR
Scenario = Prismverse's Clash
Difficulty = ? (I assume "Novice")

But different scenarios (Manibus vs Way of Winter) means new area of map and new questline? So it would be better for me to wait in Eternaland for October to directly login to Way of Winter than getting locked into another Manibus playthrough for 6 weeks, right?

Also, is the questline same for both PvE and PvP? Is the story that I played in Manibus the same story people would have played in Evolution's Call?

Also, is the questline same for both PvE and PvP? Is the story that I played in Manibus the same story people would have played in Evolution's Call?

"Way of Winter" will have new map and questline.

I am not sure if it is just an extension to current map and questline though but minimally, there will be new map regions and quests.

I heard that when the new PVE scenario is out, the devs will allow mid-season transfers so I cannot say for certain but for myself, I have already transferred to hard servers so that I can get more starchrom and blueprint fragments in preparation for "Way ot Winter" when it is out.

For PVE vs PVP storyline, my understanding is it is the same but I can't confirm because my 2 characters are both in PVE servers.

Also, you can choose whichever at the end of each season, you aren't locked into pvp if you choose a pvp server first season, you can switch to pve second season, or vice versa.
