the lag is actually insane

i don't know what the update was but prior the lag was fixed i was able to play now its so taxing on my pc right now i can not even run it without freezes lag and tee peeing backwards or just straight up enemies spawn in and i die because nothing was there... no other game with this issue kinda crazy how optimisation is still an issue and is what is putting off so many players...

Same here, game was perfectly playable yesterday, start the game today and download the patch now it's laggy as hell, unplayable, even lowering the graphics didn't change a thing!
Any solutions or we just wait??

ive asked around but heard nothing :( just sucks because i really enjoy this game :/ but same with me suddenly its lagged out

This game installs something in the background that once you open it, it slows your entire rig down. I've tested this now multiple times. I have to restart my PC and it's fine until i run the game, then it starts all over again. I went from this to Division 2 and had the SAME exact stuttering lag bs in that game... uninstalled this, Division 2 ran fine after that.

People said it's just some bs that logs your character stats and assigns you a random ID each time you log, whatever tf it is, it 100% impacts performance on my rig.

hopefully they can fix it because people are starting to not play :( my world is super dead now
