Craftable bladed weapons

Are we stuck with a machete and an axe? I'm one of those guys who likes to make my character feel the way I want, without caring about min/maxing.. So I wanted to use something like a sword or the like, but it seems that they only comes via drops, and then we can't repair them?

I was also disappointed when I realized that I couldn't run with katanas with a melee build

There IS a katana, but it's a legendary drop it seems :/

i am about blueprints framgents, there no options to craft katana and other cool melee weapon, only fish and clubs.

Then we agree, it's rather sad that we can't craft better bladed weapons

With as much as I use a melee weapon at endgame, I'm using one of the looted katanas and building it for crit damage. Even at +4 it's still reasonably good since quick hits are always a critical.

Yeah, just use the Katana drop. It's durability is high enough that it'll keep going for a couple of weeks of occasional use, as you'll still want to use guns most of the time anyway. As such, two Katanas (easy to get in Tier 5), and I was able to get to the end of the season anyway.

I fee like they will be adding more blue prints in the future so they may add more blades or melee weapons in general.

Ive gotten three katanas myself without trying so they show up quite commonly. Found of the Axe myself
