Base destroyed - How?

Hello, can someone help me? When I came back from a quest, my base was almost completely destroyed and parts and materials were missing. How can this be, or what or who caused this to happen? Shortly before, I accepted a friend request. Can this person raid my base? A theory from a user has been put forward that one of my paper dolls picked up an echo stone from somone and my base was raided by someone. Fyi: I have no Echo Stone in my Inventars, wasn‘t in chaos Modus, play on a PVP server.

Theres a griefing technique that consists of people luring those zombies that shoot projectiles and wasps to attack them while they dodge, so the thing will hit your construction and damage it

And the entire base is almost completely destroyed and the materials are missing? What's also strange is that I had set up traps in front of the house, but they were still in perfect working order and didn't need to be repaired. So is it the case that even if you're not in PVP mode, the base can be destroyed and plundered?

Never tried but when you make someone friend they can use your instalations ... maybe they can use your purification manchine .... and they just let the waves destroy your base .

If you are on a pvp server i hear there are exploits using chaos cortexs. Make sure you dont have a paper doll. and don't accept invites from randoms or people you dont know that might be holding a chaos cortex

Mhhm… thats very disappointing, when you ask for help and others take advantage of it.

Thats why i hate playing with strangers or depending on them to do something, like a raid or a insanely hard boss lmao
There are players who are genuinely willing to help you and create a friendship bond, but theres also people who will use you to their advantage and discard you when theres no more use.

There are players who are genuinely willing to help you and create a friendship bond, but theres also people who will use you to their advantage and discard you when theres no more use.

Unfortunately, you're right, this would be my first bad experience... kind of a shame, because playing alone is less fun… in my opinion.

i do purification , next to my base there was a truck with a vending machine, the spawners just demolished that truck. Perhaps someone nearby did purification and the mobs demolished your base

nah, purification can't be used by friend even with the full permission. only owner can access to it. this is clearly the echo stone exploit on the pvp server.

nah, purification can't be used by friend even with the full permission. only owner can access to it. this is clearly the echo stone exploit on the pvp server.

I don't understand how it works. I just found a video about it. It says that you get invited to a team or vice versa... or trade with someone. I was on a quest and during it I had a friend request which I accepted... nothing more. Another question is, would that be enough and the other is when you are friends with someone... does the person see where I am and where my base is? And why can't I see their base?

Are there any houses near your house ? cus if so someone else might start their own purification and bosses and mobs spawned in yours cus in last few patches devs messup up spawning points so hard that now if people have bases close to each other purify makes mobs spawn mobs in other ppl houses and destroy them ...i seen it on my server bosses were literally inside other ppl homes so while they trying to attack you they destroy others homes lol , so might be same case if u are close to someone

its one house near, but i talk with him and he was at time afk... idk if that true, but his home isnt demolition and if this was the reason, where is my stuff from the warehouse and the period was 10 minutes... the loot from the bosses wouldnt have to there/ spwan?
