Another issue with building...
So I recently began trying to use the water systems. I set up a nice system with pumps and filters to spray my crops. I eventually got to the point of needing to move mt house, as I wanted to expand my territory.

The water pump the supplies water doesn't let you build it into your property. Instead, you need it to be on the ground outside of the property. I'm not sure why this is. Pipes can be run through foundations; just look at any existing building in modern times. But I digress.

The issue comes when I moved my house. Since the water pump wasn't on a foundation piece, it did not come along with the rest of the house, meaning I just lost it and all the resources that went into it. Gone.

This also disconnected my watering and filtering systems, so I was forced to now rewire and rerun all the hoses to it to get it back to working order.

If you are going to force players to build on the ground, then when they move their properties, you have to bring those things along with everything else. The alternative is to simply allow water pumps to be built on foundations, so they're not arbitrarily deleted as the players home increases in complexity.

BTW, I found an exploitable glitch with your water pump. xP It can't be placed on foundations for whatever reason, right? But it CAN be balanced on the edge of a railing, for whatever reason. Still works perfectly too. ...might want to also address this next time.

I broke almost a hundred pumps when I constantly moving my base. But any resources that you use to build them or any liquid in the pump will be moving into the Vault in the Territory control thingy.

Edit: Sometimes, the resources that are used to build them go to your backpack just like when you manually demolish them. I don't know why this is happening either.

Oh, that's the fun part! ...they weren't. The pumps were LOST; no resources or anything returned, no sign of them after they vanished. Nothing. Twice it's happened now.

Weird. When I move my base the water pump contents go to the territory vault. Go to the Discord and submit a bug report, as this seems like an actual bug. Posting here won't get you any help.

There are a lot of issues with building. Thankfully they know and are working on improving it. It needs to happen soon though.

Just kind of tired of posting new threads, so here is another issue. Defensive walls. Why are they sh!t?

Why won't they allow me to place them near the house? I have a staircase I wanted to frame out with a gate and wall to keep animals and such out. The gate only worked to open and close from the outside, and resisted *hard* me trying to just put it near the stairs. The wall clipped half it's height into the ground, then refused to be adjusted out of the ground... or pretty much at all. I laughed as my deviations were able to just walk through it without issue.

I want to get into more of the base building content, but my GOD you need to work on this! I feel like you know me personally and want to make me hate everything about this part of the game, while slowly forcing me into it. The minute I try to do that thing for the starcrom and my base is ruined because of these limitations, I might just stop playing entirely, despite all the time I've spent.

The more I go into it, the worse it seems to get. PLEASE don't just leave it like this. Everything else is great; I'd hate for this one thing to ruin a large part of it.

Don't give up. That's unbecoming of a true gamer.
