Making territory smaller?

Does anyone know of a way to remove the territory upgrade? This is a truly stupid amount of space, and I can't fit my territory in anywhere near my friends anymore. :(

I honestly wish I had never upgraded it, I don't need the room and I can't undo it

Is it possible to cancel the "Territory Expansion" memetic? I know that in general you can reset them (you get a partial refund of their original cost). You might need to interact with the Territory Terminal again. (I'm just guessing here ... I know that in general you can undo things, but I don't know whether it works for territory expansion.)

try refunding the point .. not sure if it will shrink your space like it should .. thats one thing i dontlike about the memetics if you spent a point in say intermediate gear bench craft it build it and reset the point .. imo if you reset the point you shouldn be able to craft with the bench because you wouldn have the skill to use it .. but in this game (unless they actually fixed it) you can learn stuff craft the bench/item to use and just refund the point to use elseware

in the end you get enough points to complete the entire memetic trees
