Controller issue

I've been playing with my ps5 controller without issue until now. My controller is properly connected and works perfectly with all the other games I play, but suddenly, it isn't working with once human at all. I've tried restarting my pc, re-linking through Bluetooth, using a cord to connect the controller, launching in big picture mode, and using different controllers ranging from Playstation to Xbox... I would use the keyboard and mouse, but I don't have the space...

Steam settings > Controller > Disable the bit about playstation controllers and try.
I had disable the bit about xbox controllers for mine to work post patch recently.

Unfortunately that didn't seem to do anything

right click once human in your library, go to the controller settings and try disable steam input. See if that works. If it doesn't I have no idea :(

Try disabling steam imput like monochrome said, it just fixed it for me

Glad it worked :) have fun. They released some weird patch that doesn't allow you to play whilst steam input of some sort is enabled with your controller, previously it was fine. Bug or intended, no clue.

controllers doesnt even work well with the game, lol i tested it the other day and i am like nah this is trash, lol super inaccurate trying to shoot etc. Definitely not made for controllers.

Thanks that fixed it for me. However I still have an issue with menu wheel (LB-L1) in-game. I can hover over up, down, left, right options but nothing in between. I can just about manage to hover over the cradle if I am patient and precise. Any ideas anyone?

I can’t seem to get the function wheel to work on controller.. I have severe carpel tunnel and I can’t use keyboard and mouse for to long, so I rely on controller. Everything works fine but the function wheel won’t work, it lets me hover top, bottom left and right but nothing in between.. can someone help? It was working fine earlier and now it’s not. And I’ve tired 4 different Xbox controllers and 2 were brand new..

If the above is true, you could at least try move things around so the things you want to use on the function wheel are within reach, its not a problem solver but its a patch.
I would test or try figure something out for you but I've since uninstalled the game, sorry.

My controller was working perfectly fine. The game just updated now my controller won't stay connected. If I hold analog stick to move the cursor it just blips in and out. Also none of my buttons seem to do anything. Started doing this about an hour ago after my game updated.

Im having the same problem. did you ever find a way to fix this?
