End game bosses
So, my server is phase 4 novice atm, so LEA and Giant are open season now. I got to say I find both the fights very unnappealing. The mechanics are fine, that is not the issue. Lets take each in turn:

- Giant is invulnerable to status damage. I know this has been discussed before here, but it deserves another go. Its just that bad. It makes no sense. You already have a damage cap on each phase, there is no reason to just randomly disable a damage type that works in 99% of the rest of the game. Changing to a shrapnell gun (didn't even bother with armor) and passed the boss just fine, so it was not a matter of "git good". Its just that you can't cap damage in each phase if you do status damage. The boss is great otherwise, but that one thing just destroys the motivation for 60% of people to ever play it again.

- LEA. Now this is a s*** show of a dungeon. Again, the mechanics are fine, but the sheer ammount of spawns just ruins everything. You are not even fighting the boss 99% of the time, the actual boss phase it just melts. But the adds, my god. The game engine just cannot handle it, and on my client they are so many they are invisible and pop up right on top of me and grab me constantly. Plus the homing projectiles ignore most obstacles and can literally follow you around until you stop and then hit, hit, hit, hit, hit... and there is nothing you can do. You don't even see them, they are under the floor or something. You just see your hp get chunked over and over again with 0 visual cue, panic roll, still get hit, get grabbed by an invisible add, and back into adrenaline phase. Again, this is not a matter of "get gud". Its a matter of visual clarity. You just can't defends against something you don't see.
Also, in the mother of life phase, the vampire guys sometimes get stuck into lasering over and over again, with no other attacks in between, which feels cheap also.

Its a pity, because they are great fights, but these small things just make it so you just get cheap shotted and armor damage to a degree that is not fun to play.
It would be much better if you allowed a easy and hard mode like other bosses/dungeons, so new people could prepare for the harder fights progressively, instead of squashing them like bugs.

LEA is definitely built for party, you can solo as a challenge for season goal but it's not really built around it.

And don't worry, at Prime War nightmare mode Shrapnel got nerfed because you can't shrapnel Manibus in PW. The normal public crisis Manibus close encounter is affected by shrapnel but not in PW. Game just randomly designed to nerf certain build in certain fight for no reason.
