Morph crates

What should you build to combat morph crates? I was surprised to see them at level 2 and the couple of answers I've seen just give generic and condescending answers that aren't very helpful.

As above, move around a lot. But doing them at level 2 would be a challenge.

I mean, how do you do damage? When I shot them with the basic pistol, it kept saying "immune" and the health bar didn't change. How does a low level do damage to them so you aren't running around attracting all the other deviants?

You must do the type of damage that is in their name. As in Void or Balance for the server I'm on. There are 2 others on other servers. Take down the shield with that type of damage then you can use any weapon when shield is gone. You can get things in your cradle that help if you don't have that type of weapon.

ive probably killed 50+ morphic crates, most of which with the starting crossbow, never ran into a single one with immunities. So thats new info to me.

If you are new, don't start in Normal or Hard server. Start in Novice server, there are no Morphic Crate with special ability.

If you are a veteran, well there are tons of info available when you sign up to new Normal/Hard server. You need the correct type of dmg to kill them. What's the name of the crate? There should be a Prefix.

What you do if you are veteran is go to Deadsville, exchange Sproulet for Stardust source with Nisa and then craft tier I legendary gears.
