Basically, every server goes through 6 phases.

Each phase is about a week.

Phase 6 lasts for 4 weeks and at the end of phase 6, the wipe happens for the server.

You're wrong, when phase 6 starts on the server, you can continue playing until it ends or immediately go to a new server.
