Please allow me to toggle sprint (double tap shift)

I understand I can press the default key ~ to hold sprinting, but that only works when you're already sprinting. It's awkward to press ~ and SHIFT at the same time.

Before someone suggests it, I tried mapping hold sprinting to SHIFT, but you need to press the key "hold sprinting" on its own to initiate sprint and you can't first hit W for forward movement before pressing that key (SHIFT in this case, ~ by default). It's slightly broken imo.

Loving the game otherwise and appreciate the hard work that went into it.

Change sprint mode from hold to press? it only need one tap from shift.

the auto-run does not have any pre-conditions, i just press it and the character runs, same for the vehicles.

Are you saying by default when you press W to move forward for example, and then press SHIFT once (default sprint) the character continues sprinting? That's not the case for me. I'm used to "toggle" sprint, as in what you're describing for the sprint key but I don't see that option.

Check your menu, it's there. I'm using it. You have to hold W and keep moving since it's not auto walk/run/sprint/whatever but pressing shift once switches me to sprint from walk.

I'm going to do you a solid and screen shot it for you. Just switch it from "hold" to "press."
