Electric Eel in Way of Winter

Is it possible to catch an electric eel in the "Way of winter" scenario? I haven't caught one yet. Has anyone managed to catch one, and where can I do it?

Catch them anywhere using any bait I caught several already.

I found it easy to catch them during fishing events (1-2 per event)

You must import them from Eternland if i remember good they are on the list of the Deviation that you can not get in Way of the Winter

В описании сезона написано что он не доступен в сценарии с зимой.
Если кто-то поймал их то это опять недочет разрабов.
Я вот тоже не могу поймать, каждый день по 2ч стою в разных местах.

Yeah they're pretty common. I've only caught them in rivers and lakes though, not sure if that's coincidence or not. Had a surprising amount of success fishing them out of lava rivers with lures and an adv rod.

This is not misinformation. I have tried all the ways mentioned, even in lava, and NOT A SINGLE one has appeared. In the season information, it does not appear as a stage deviant. These days, they have probably been removed.

No, you can definitely catch them, I caught a few last week in phase 3. Lava has the Flame Essence dev, no Electric Eel. Best location is the small island at the south east corner of WoW map.

It's also entirely possible they migrated based on phase. you could actually catch them in the plain water docks on the first phase but by phase 3, fishing at the docks only got you Polar Jellies.

They have activly changed what deviates are in the event and where they are for the entire duration fo the month, and they have changed how they were spawned on Manibus, so dont be so jumpy to accuse people of misinformation, some of us just arent as up to date as others for a game that seems to be using us as a beta test.

so you guys think it's ok to encourage ppl to spend precious import points just bcs you can't catch one, while others can?
sorry but it's surely a misinformation , just accept it and do better research next time so you won't make a fool of yourself.

I only speak from personal experience as I am rather exuberant about fishing as are my peers. I enjoy experimenting with different bait types and cataloging spawn points. I have been fascinated with how the Electric Eel position has been changing based on reports from multiple sources; my own experiences, screenshots from members of my hive and people on the Reddit sharing catches.

If you have felt any of my information to be untrue, that's a shame.
