Who desided on these world borders?
Seriously who decided where the edges of the scenario are because they need to be shot. I can tell you how many times I have been driving to a teleport tower to unlock it in the way of winter only to be sent down a road that is out of the zone and almost killed because I was going to fast. The GPS should never send us into an area that is out of bounds but it does so all the time whenever we need to go somewhere even remotely close to the edge.

Edited: If you do not understand what I am explaining. Go on your map in game and plot a path to the Blazewind Teleport Tower or the Scorchwind observatory. No mater where you are coming from on the map the GPS will take you out of bounds. There are other places as well but this is one of the biggest offenders.

So, you do not look at the map to see your destination? Really odd thing to do and then blame the game for it.

That GPS cannot be trusted blindly. It will make detours, insane loops, out of bounds tracks, ...

I believe what the op is mad about is the gps making him go trough OOB area to go somewhere where he isn't OOB, not that is destination is OOB

I'm pretty sure this is not a skill issue oh my God:steamfacepalm:

Still the same thing applies. Most would look at the map before driving off.

That is not the point. The point is if there is a road clearly meant to take you to a destination that is in the bounds of the map then that road should also be in bounds of the map. I do look a the map but not everyone likes to keep it so zoomed out you can't see anything.

OR ... Just zoom out a little and path the route it has planned on the map.

OR the developers can fix an issue with their own map design that should not be an issue in the first place.

Well... I'm a pretty new player to the game. When I first, or at least at the second time, encountered this way to prevent the player to enter an area he shouldn't, I wasn't happy about that too. The first time I didn't know what's going on. I know there was a warning, but who would expect the game instantly kills me, instead of just damaging me slowly until death. A better way would be to just damage the player until death or even better, prevent the player to enter the area by a barrier at the border.

On the other hand, there was a quest in Phase 1 of the season what said, I need to wait until Phase 2 to continue it. But there were other quests leading me into an area where I shouldn't be until Phase 2. A little contradictory.

And about the GPS: It does its job mostly wellt. But sometimes I see it's not programmed THAT well. I looks pretty confused sometimes or choses a path what's the longer way instead of the shortest way. And I don't talk about offroad routes. I mean streets of course.

Exactly these are all issues that should have been fixed by now. But all of these that you mentioned have been around since the beginning.
being shot is a little drastic don't you think?

lets make a class action lawsuit against the GPS devoloper

I'm not on the same scenario but have a similarly annoying problem with the GPS trying to take me through designated Prime War areas all the time - or more specifically, being force teleported out of the area and having to find a way around, usually over crappy terrain, instead of just being able to pass through an otherwise unused area while no events are even happening.

It's a chinese game.

Ive noticed, people would rather try and make excuses for bad designs in this game and call you a bad player, instead of agreeing that this game is still rough.

Ive lost my 4/4 starry butterfly due to a Containment unit being interactable, and in a place that clearly STARTS you out. nope. its a trap and that deviant is gone. the Cervitaur horror mask is lost somewhere from twitch. Notifications are always on due to the game not noticing that Ive already seen tin, played with tin, and am now done with tin... suddenly BING!!!! Have you looked at tin yet? its new!

But people will say its the players fault, and not the grubby devs not wanting to fix the damn game.
