Easy fix for Griefers using Chaos Weavers to distroy bases

So in Primsverse theres a few places you can be at that are 'safe' havens where theres not PVP only PVE. Not many but enough for people to enjoy the game. They should add a few places like this to the Winter season. You cant build towers and they are extremely rare areas to be attacked by Weavers yet the items near them are mid so people still have to explore but not fear about losing their bases and items in a PVE server.

My friend and sister kept their bases at the very first area along with a few others who just wanted to have fun and take things slow. Someone built a tower right there just to have a weaver attack these low level and simple homes destroying everything. It sucks but something should be done to avoid malicious players from ruining fun for people.

They need to change the CW mechanics that allows it to destroy houses and let griefers loot items. Otherwise it is essentially a PvP server masking as PvE.

They just need to make it so that Chaosweavers cannot destroy buildings except for those within the square occupied by the Thermal Tower.

Of course, they will also need to make it so that players can build within the square that the Thermal Tower occupies to make defenses for it.

Hmm as one who had there base completely wiped out by a Chaos weaver, not thinking it will change soon. Would be nice but wont happen this season. A lot would have to be done to make that happen imho. Will go back to manibus next play through.

I would just reduce the damage that the Chaosweaver does to buildings and increase the rewards for killing them to buy time to help people defend their property (also provide tiered contribution for players and allow them to repair other peoples buildings while also providing a reward structure for it).

They are meant to be a threat to players as the flagship "apocalyptic monster" that players need to band together to defeat. The whole theme to the scenario is that "winter is coming" and unless we band together as players, the monsters will come and destroy us and are an active threat to our homes, it just needs finer tuning and better attention to detail so that people don't get offlined just for logging out for the night.

Ppl will be discouraged to rebuild again and on the long run the game will bleed player. Not because of the Weaver itself but the lack of meaningful counterplay to griefing. The whole purpose of a tower is to band together, build together and enjoy the advantages of a tower. The loot mechanic make griefing even worth it. If all the mats would go into the vault at least nobody would profit from it. If I want to PvP I´ll go to a PvP game.
