I can't mine the cold ores

Game lags and bugs so bad that the rock explodes on me before my no matter how sneakily i try to start drilling after throwing a molotov on it. It worked like two time out 8, not very fun.

I actually recently discovered that not all heat sources are the same and too drastic of a temrpature shift causes the explosion. It happens with Hot ore too; cool it down too fast and it explodes in your face.

I've been throwing molotvs NEAR cold ore instead of directly on it and waiting for the burn to end before I tap the mine.

When you throw molotov and ice grenade, they explode on hit which does DMG, then spread burn/frost AoE. The ore will explode if hit with directly DMG effect. You are supposed to use the burn and frost AoE to reduce heat/cold from the ore, not using the explosion.
