changing scenarios

I'm new to the game please help.
if i change the scenario will i be able to go to previous scenario without losing my progress in it? Or if i change scenario i will lose everything?
im not talking about the wipe i mean like right now if i want to go back and forth in 2 scenarios is it possible?
