Is the battle pass leveling not transferrable to new characters? I started a new server with my friends and it says I have to buy the battle pass again!?

I've had clothing that I unlocked on the battlepass be shared between my characters.

I am happy to see this thread because I was just about to post one going like: 'I'm a person, not a toon' and if I spend money, I want to spend it on me, and not a toon. I already bought some nice looking gear, not to boast, just to show I don't mind spending money and upon hitting 50 was tempted to go for the seasonal pass, allowing me to get to 60 (which is PTW, but that's another subject).
I won't buy anything that is restricted to a toon. I think I'm not alone here.

YES! I was so disappointed to see that I couldnt progress the battle pass outside of the Way of Winter server (Since that's where i bought it. Dont think ill be buying the pass again.

Yes, The items i unlocked already, unlock for my other characters but I can not progress at all (in the advanced part) unless i play the server i purchased it on (Which was the Way of Winter scenario) So I am not a happy camper./

battle pass lvl, Free cosmetics, blueprint's, weapon attachments, and free mods they are all linked to one character not your account so if you make a new character you won't have those free cosmetics skins, blueprints, mods, weapon attacments, and battle pass lvl so you'll start from scratch if you make a new character on another server and if using the same character your free cosmetics, blueprints, weapon attachments, mods, and battle pass lvl will still be linked to the same character you got them with but paid cosmetics and paid battle pass cosmetics are linked to your account so you can use any character you want on the same account using the same cosmetics you bought and a tip when you move to new server you only get 20k points to keep some stuff from old server so be careful picking what you want to keep I wouldn't keep stuff you gathered in the world or weapons and armor you can get all of that again pretty easy I do make advanced saw and drill before I go to a new server and keep my best deviants that helps you get resources and at least one fighting deviant and also bring your sources last they are needed to calibrate your weapon and armor if you have more points left you can take animals you tamed or seeds some animals and plant seeds are not on manibus map the way of winter map has different plant seeds and animals that you can't get on mnanibus map also acid is good but cost a lot to bring over you can get them from killing zombies or make acid in the brewing barrels

The game does that for you when you leave but when your on the new server go to your inventory and bottom tab there's a space time bag and it should say transfer click on it all your stuff from old server is in there but pick the most important to you you only get 20k points to transfer some stuff over so pick wisely if you don't want all deviants you can store them on eternaland

That rambling wall of word salad is an *answer*? It's not. If I buy a battle pass, that should be for all my characters. Not the progression, but the unlocking of (potential) rewards. I'll get there again, that's the fun. But I'll be damned before I pay $25 to unlock the battle pass for every damned character. It should be linked to *account*.

That is wrong your talking to someone who bought the battle pass twiced once you unlocked everything with one character you get all paid rewards like skins and deco they are linked to your account not only one character you do not have to complete the battle pass with another character if you don't want to, you get your paid rewards matter what it is unlocked only once so all characters you have on the same steam account get those rewards as well I have 5 characters and everyone of them have the paid battle pass skins and deco rewards without completing the battle pass again now not the free battle pass rewards like skins and deco they don't only paid battle pass skins and deco rewards now if I want the freee skins and deco rewards I have to complete the battle pass again to get the free rewards if I make a new character but I will get all paid battle pass skins and deco rewards even the previous rewards from old battle pass if you hover over the paid battle pass skin or deco reward it tells you its cross character sharing so all characters get that skin or deco but yea it is kinda fun to earn the rewards again like stardust and other resources also would be nice if the free battle pass skins and deco would have cross character sharing to other characters it should be that way because soon as the battle pass ends you dont get the free deco and skins anymore only the free deco and skins you dont get on all characters only the character you completed the battle pass with but $25 is bit to much for the full battle pass should be no more then $10 for full battle pass or less

This is not true. I believed you and bought the advanced battle pass. The rewards, including cosmetics (I was actually after the furniture) is still locked for my second character. So the battle pass is PER CHARACTER and not Per Account. Which I think is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane.
Edit: wait, the furniture is there. Edit 2: And so are the cosmetics. It never showed the little yellow 'new' triangle, so I missed it. So I stand corrected. Edit 3: in my defence: it also keeps telling me to purchase the enhanced edition for additional rewards and in the season pass overview they still have a padlock on them.

Yea it will always show locked in the paid battlle pass when you make a new character but you should have the piad skins and deco ulocked see if you have them because all of mine get unlocked if i make a new character i will have all paid deco and skins but dont think it allows you to get the resources again from the paid battle pass tho which is bs but if you want the resouces you have to pay for resouces which you can get that all in game sorry if i didnt mention that before was just letting ppl know you get all deco and skins but only paid ones carry to new character not the free ones the recourses do not carry over either also to remind ppl it will only carry over to new characters if your using the same steam account so check your cosmetics and base build to find your deco it should be there if not then its bugged because i have all of my paid cosmetics and deco on my 5 characters without buying the battle pass again but i do not have all free ones on every new character i feel they should give the free ones to us too
