problem adding stars to my weapon.

i am running a frost vortex build and using the abyss glance legendary rifle with it.

problem is that i cant seem to find any "stranger" blueprint fragments to level it up. there is only like 2 or 3 mystical chests i still need to go out and grab, but i doubt that they will give me the stranger BP frags i need to get some ranks going onto this gun.

i was able tu upgrade my secondary DE 50 wildfire epic pistol to lvl 3 now, and even for that one i cant seem to find any more BP fragments.

question i have: do i really have to gamble in the wishing machine and pray to the RNG gods that ill get "stranger" BP frags?
also, i was able to upgrade my secondary epic pistol trough using BP conversion an upgrading other epic weapons, but i cant seem to find any of the legendary quality BP frags to upgrade my main abyss glance rifle.

does anyone know or have some tips on how i would be able to increase my main legendary rifle?

Use the conversion system! You can upgrade weapons, convert them to another weapon, upgrade that weapon, and when it's all done - convert back to the one you want to use.

For instance:
Roll the fire shotgun banner in wish machine.
You get the fire shotgun and fragments (~10k starchrom). Buy the fire shotgun from wish machine shop and get even more fragments (8k starchrom)
Upgrade fire shotgun to 2 or 3 star
Use conversion and swap the star upgrades with another weapon
Rinse and repeat.

Also, yes, you have to use the wish machine - gamble or otherwise.

They introduced a Blueprint Conversion system recently. Just to highlight they might be removing it in the 19 Dec update so what I am about to share, if you wanna do it, do it before then.

For clarity, this is not an exploit or cheat, just how the system works but from what I read recently, they may be changing this in 19 Dec update.

The Blueprint Conversion system works like this:

1. In the blueprint menu, on the right side, there is the Blueprint Conversion menu.

2. We can have up to 10 attempts per season and they refill overtime.

3. You can swap any same grade (i.e. normal, rare, epic, legendary) weapon or armor blueprint's stars to another.

For eg. if I have a 3 star Abyss Glance and no Stranger blueprint fragments but I also own a 1 star Katana with tons of Juggernaut blueprint fragments.

I can use 1 blueprint conversion attempt to exchange the 3 stars on the Abyss Glance to the Katana. Then, I upgrade the Katana to 4 stars.

Then, using another blueprint conversion attempt, I can exchange it back to Abyss Glance.

This means I am able to upgrade Abyss Glance to 4 stars using Juggernaut blueprint fragments.
