In pro mode Yes but is kinda hard.
You need make him not hit the same platform 3 times.
If you manage the hits well its is not too hard to do solo in normal.

But, after the giant you have LEA and to complete the mission you must kill the doctor which is much harder so you'll need a team for that.
If you go in to a 3rd rotation of the boss mechanics you are basically not doing enough DPS.
I recommend a weakspot damage build for the boss fight.
Pretty much once you figure the fight out you will wonder why you struggled with it.
JBT above explained the floor mechanic, the others are:
When hes holding red in his fist run to the other side, there is a tree root near the edge as a kind of marker, you can get a few shots off as he sweeps across, no damage if you're far enough.
He does a large over head smash that will one shot you, going far enough to the right avoids that one.
Jump over the blast rings.
Throw the devices he drops at him when he covers his chest to unblock.
The timing can be a pain when he smashes the deck to break it, the red light on you isn't the attacks final position, there is a sound that plays when it locks on to your position a second or 2 before the slam. Go from one side to the other let him hit each segment once. He will do this twice in the fight.
