Keep your deviants next to it, some of them likes warm temperature.
Play on high settings and 2k resolution.
It's more to do with the game settings and what level of power your PC has. You have a glorified calculator for all intents and purposes there, so of course it generates little heat. Meanwhile my 7800x3d and RTX4090 puts out so much heat that it can heat my entire home in the dead of winter singlehandedly just by playing a demanding PC game. (And I still have to run my AC to keep the office from getting too hot at times, despite it being 36 degrees outside.)
In simple terms, the more powerful the PC, the more heat it puts out.
I'm so lucky that the PC has a safety check for high temperatures but who knows what damage a game that turns your PC into a furnace will do in the long run!
These are my PC specs.
CPU:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10900KF @ 3.70GHz
RAM: 64.0 GB
Windows 11 Home
GPU:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080
Programs do not damage PCs. This is very much like how they tried to lay blame on New World for breaking specific GPUs
lol?
My PC turned off because it was overheating. I touched the GPU, and it was super hot.
Today, I left the computer case doors open and lowered the settings, and it was a bit cooler. I'm not the only one who has issues with this game🧐
Video Game companies need to test their games on a high-end PC & one with minimum requirements!
I love the game, but I don't want to destroy my PC for a game that will wipe my progress every 6 weeks!
A new GPU cost 500+. I don't understand why people defend games like this. If you have no issues, good for you, but if half of the player base is having issues then something is wrong from the developer's side and not us.
Overheating rarely pops up in community chatter (in game or forums).
