How does alt characters work?
I want to know if anything is shared with the main character like blueprints, formulas, starchrom, etc. Or if it's like and entirely new game

The only thing you seem to keep on alts is premium cosmetics. Everything else is character bound. That being said even the cosmetics are region based, not account wide; so if you swap regions you won't have anything you earned in another region.

Edit: Anything like dyed cosmetics are also character bound it seems.
