Heat/cold is getting stupid

I am wearing armour top/legs made from crocodile skin (Heat resist) I have a coldium rock in my backpack and I have eaten heat resistant food. I was trying to reach a teleport tower and died before I got there because it was 90c

It is ridiculous, either something is broken or way of winter can just die if this keeps up. I had fun in Manibus but this winter map heat/cold mechanic is annoying the crap out of me. This is NOT FUN.

Another instance, I teleported into Bear's den wearing armour made from bear skin and with a heatium in my pack and it was minus 50c...in a town/hub. I was trying to hand in a quest and was getting hyperthermia before I could reach the NPC...it's getting stupid now...really annoying!

I also have Heatium/Coldium, All Weather Stew and Skins in my Clothes but i die after a few minutes everywhere. Something feels off, theres people having the same equipment and they do not have any issues.

Make sure to use "chaosium lantern" If you put it in slot 3 make sure to press 3 on your keyboard and see the temp if it is stable or not for you.

could be chaosweaver, they can cause extreme drop/rise of temperature in the surrounding area. Switch world to avoid them.

I agree terrible mechanics. On viver in general now on phase 4 the temperatures are such that I am constantly dying even with a lamp and all of the above. It's annoying.

that must be a Bug i start with 4 Friends on the same server we was using the same Armor and the same Skins so same Cold Protection but for some reason i was unable to move outside of my base as i die constant even my 4 Friend in the same place had absolute no problems it go so far that i stop to play with them as it was not possible and switch server with the card to play alone and strange thing on the new server i dont die even i run around near nacked

I just bought a heater. Nice, it gave me some more warmth. Moved it, and it stopped working. Had to demolish it and rebuild it to get it to work again. So yeah, it's bugged.

Never Wow again. To much taken away and the few things added are just most boring, annoying or broken mechanics like invincible mobs and temperature. One step forward, two steps back.

When this kind of thing happens, you should Unequip the Gear - wait a few seconds like 30 - then Equip them back & see if that fix's it.

Can also switch Armor types ( Like Armor that is for Heat Zones or Armor that is for Cold Zones - Armor that is crafted with Heat or Cold materials )

The two foods you listed have nowhere near the protection that All Weather Stew provides.
If they can't survive with All Weather Stew, what makes you think that less effective foods will work?

Ya check this out, I was on the winter map this morning everything was good, I had to leave the house so when I got back turn the Pc on and get into game to find out a new phase has started.

So I have had no issues in my base area with Temps now When I first logged in my Temp was 60' I over heated and died, so spawn back in base almost same spot now its -35 I froze to death and die, Now running around my base watching my temps go all over the place !

Now I can't even play !

Phase 3 chaos weaver are spawning all over the map causing temperature chaos until defeated.
The easy solution is to move your base away from their spawn point or make an electric heater/AC.

There is definitely a bug. Yesterday I was in Fire Throat. 1x Heatium, 2x croc skins, all weather stew. I was in there for a good 40 minutes and no issues at all. Next time I went in I would die every few minutes, tried 3 or 4 times and same result, same gear/food, and it wasn't to the invisible lava or chaosium but to heatstroke.

Same here. Everything against the Temperatur wearing/using and dying instant in some places. I miss 2 chests in endboss area and went there try to get them, telephone call interupt me. Today after next step in season i go back to finish area now AND ON PORT 90°C
+ seconds later dead. Go to a CW Hot one and no probs, went to a CW Ice one within seconds warning on screen and dead.
This temperature system f..d the game up. A cold and a hot area are ok, wearing/using diff. stuff is OK also diff. weapons = OK. Rest is .............

Yup I was fine till the new phase stared

I lived on a island for from the mainland for the past week and the temperature was just fine till today. No matter what I do I was gonna burn to death. I maxed out on heat resistant for clothing what usually been enough in my area but now to stay a live I had to eat some heat resistant food and stand near a AC to keep cool. Im moving back to the old map after this phase ends.
