House construction is buggy

The unstick/stick button does not work - parts of the structure always stick to each other if they are close enough. There is no ladder from the foundation to the ground, and due to sticking, it is impossible to place two foundation blocks end-to-end at different height levels. There is no foundation block sloping to the ground. As a result, on an uneven surface there is no way to make a smooth transition from the ground to the foundation level... because of this, during a siege, some enemies rest against the outermost block of the foundation and hit it, because can't get through (yes, the AI ​​here is extremely stupid, that's obvious), and as a result these small enemies damage the foundation, and the turrets don't attack them, because... enemies are hidden behind this small piece of foundation.

You can use the 'ceiling' (connected to a foundation) and the 'half floor stair' to connect the 'ceiling' to the ground. It doesn't works with 'foundation' directly and need have a 'ceiling' that connect to the 'stair'

This is true, still will never be as bad as FO4/76 base building but yea there's some annoying quirks I always encounter I hope they polish it up more.

I would also like to add: my house is close in size to the border of the construction zone (but does not go beyond it, of course), and monsters appear INSIDE THE HOUSE during a siege. Cool. Turrets are outside and MONSTERS INSIDE = a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ circus... please fix it.

yea i built a fence around my base like, okay this will give me some more time to deal with all the monsters, but half of them were spawning inside the fence lul...

the not being able to put a ramp/ladder from the foundation to the ground drove me crazy. What an awful awful oversight to have in a building game. Had to finally give up and look for a solution online and the only one was using a ceiling tile in the middle of your foundation in order to get a ladder up to my house, which looks awful now as the ceiling tile completely stands out visually from the rest of the foundation. Just awful awful design.

Are there actually ladders in the build menu? Because I can't find them anywhere. Or are people just talking about stairs?

this works but it is very annoying

They do actually allow stairs from Foundation to ground. It's finnicky but it's there. I have it on my base since I started, the only thing is that you can't use the half stairs it has to be the regular one.
