I have been playing with my two sons and we have been able to do everything else so far.
Try doing the main quest and lower side quests. That might unlock stuff.
Also do the crafting quests as they come. That might be holding you back for some reason.
i can't reach location for my next mission.
There's a killing zone after the third quest zone
I think it's just a solution for other players to get comfortable with the game and not see any high leveled player carry them throughout the game etc..
Thats stupid if you ask me.... i dislike gatekeeping in games so much. just wanna play and progess . ive done everything on the map thats open now. cant do more untill sunday now then. great..
This completely killed the game for me. I wasn't that happy about map exploration being locked behind quests, but i'm going to do the quests anyway, so it wasn't a game killer for me.... even though takes ALL the fun out of exploration and simply being able to push your boundaries.... but the time gated map progression is DUMB AS F for this type of game. I really don't understand why they did that, but it is China... they do like to control everything you do.
I lost all interest in this game the moment i got my quest to visit Tall Grass, or whatever it is,
only to find out I can't go there until after so many days pass.... I would have refunded my battle pass if could at that moment.
But hey, its free for the most part.
Gonna loose alot of players that way. Loosing motivation and interest in the game.
I played in the beta so i know what i have to do.
People are skiping a lot of quests or activities and then will complain they are not making any progression.
I did all locations, all quests, secrets, silos, most objectives, enough base building to make it automatic( got diggers, organised stuff), made tier 3 gear and optimised mods.
I still have a lot of work to do with the base, do random events and get more materials from events.
Didnt even start to plant and get cooking recipes
I dont see the appeal of "fast food" culture in every aspect of life🤔
Well I'm happy that it's fine for you, but many of us feel completely c*ckblocked by this.
I'm sorry I don't enjoy doing all those silly sidequests. The repetitiveness is already incredible frustrating as is and then I can't even progress on the map/main story any further?
Now I'm sitting here losing interest in the game, as it honestly is a complete run through without any difficulties and now I can't even progress further.
Not sure if having to wait 2 more days, having time to reflect on how shallow the game actually is, really helps. I would've come online, be happy to play again with my buddies and just enjoy it for what it is. Instead I now have the time and frustration to build up negative thoughts about it.
People can have different opinions than you, I know that's a hard concept for you to grasp, but no matter what you think, if they don't like it mean they don't like it.
This game earned the negative review from me
I think it depends on when each server went live. Or it could depend on how fast people do stuff on each server.
