It does not take that much effort to get resources to create and upgrade gear. Stop being melodramatic.
Makes no sense, if I find a rifle on the ground tomorrow in my backyard, I can 100% repair and mod that rifle despite the fact I did not make it. Once you have it, you should own it.
It is definitely intentional, but it just makes no sense and tbh, once you get a few full blueprints, it will be hard to find anything better than you can make anyways.
Now consider all the stuff that can happen to your character in the game that you would not survive in real life. Stop trying to apply real life logic to a video game. Good grief.
Good grief is right.
Its a ridiculous concept, and Its a completely needless and pointless mechanic that exists just to make a need for another deviant.
If i find it, i own it. I shouldnt be unable to repair it because internet trolls who like to argue about nothing say "but but , its a game not real life".
Lel not anymore, read patch notes.
I think they should allow to repair gear somehow.
Hmm, that makes more sense. As someone who only plays this pve so far it made no sense to have it that way at all to me.
You're the one that started with the "real life" comparison; I just pointed out how asinine it was lol. Yeah, it is odd. But how about everyone stop acting like materials and crafting are difficult. The mats (so far up to Tier 3) are ridiculously plentiful, and the blueprints are very easy to get. Just making a Tier 2 weapon and calibrating it to +4 is so incredibly simple.
You get your little freebies to sample with and and see what you like, then you craft a new toy and upgrade it.
Dont confuse common sense gaming with asinine, that is just asinine.
Is it hard to hit a rock and tree all day long. No
Is hitting a rock or tree all day long what I want to do and look forward to when I play, NO.
Like flint pointed out, there is an actual reason to doing this, though the reason only exists for the most part in pvp servers. In pve, you find weapons early game that are useful, and it would be useful to repair them until you can make better.
Once you can make better, there is little point in using them or caring when you find one since you are making higher tiers that make them obsolete anyways.
