Q: How to catch Electric Eels?

People saying its really easy and they get like 2-4 out of 4-6 casts i'm like 0 for 30 so far and still never got one outside of those fishing events, i didn't realize they could be used for power cause i just cooked them when i got some from the events

On that note how does fishing even works? Cause I tried it and I couldn't make sense of it. There's very little to no feedback on what you're doing right or wrong and everytime I tried to fish nothing happened and I lost the bait.

yeah i just randomly go to a spot cast my line with the bait click once its blue then hold it down after and move the mouse all over till the top bar goes up and if it goes down i move it around again to make it go back up its weird

took me about 20 times to get one. end up with a lot of dried fish.

Best places are Deadsville, Meyors.. some coastal bays, take 20 or so corn bait and you should get 4-5.

After week 2 There is a place called Greenlake visitor center in Chalks peak, (left side of the map) with corn bait you can pretty much catch one with every cast. The best run I had was 12 in a row. However there are annoying turtles and a cpl crocs there now.

use mint baits for eels and u can get 4-6 in a row

fishing definitely sucks in this game lol. animations take way too long and after the first bite it can take ages to get another.

just use different baits and try different locations and youll get eels eventually. thats about all you can do.

nah the fishing is very simple far cry had a more complex fishing then once human as i said use mint baits and u get alot of eels
