Ladders for base building?

Just wondering if there are any ladders for base building in the game. Can't find any on the list and the stairs they have are a nightmare if you have an oddly shaped building.

This game doesn't have any buildable ladders . closest thing you can get to ladders is stairs

What does fly mode have to do with getting your character up to the 2nd floor??

Ladders are not the only thing to get your self to 2nd floor even without flying

I totally concur with OP we need better base building esp for triangular structures simple vertical ladders are a given problem is vert ladders ingame require interaction context nothing worse than building hex tower looks nice af but you cannot ascend it also the base curved staircases as well as corner stair cases will not snap to edges properly snapping period is tragic af esp for roofs ...

This should not be debatable. Any building game should offer buildable ladders. Sure, I can mouse around for a while with stairs and climbable water tanks, etc., but it's ludicrous that I can't just build a ladder on the side of a building and climb it. Get real, guys.

Ladders exist as a game thing, it should be a base thing. Simple As.

Yep. Although I do like the gravity boost pad things. Whatever they're called.

there is a pet (forgot the name of it) that gives mats for a teleporting door thats your best bet
