Game done at level 30?

So I got to level 30 and was trying to go to the next zone. But when you get there it is a red barrier and it yells "go no further". So is that it? They did not finish the game and released it early?

They use a seasonal model with content opening up as the season progresses, more zones dungeons etc. will unlock in a week or two. There should be a page somewhere about the season journey that you can look at to see exactly what content opens up at what times, that's how it was in the betas anyway

the next unlock is in 2 days. for me I got nothing to do right now its kinda annoying but I get it. What you can do is just finish all the quests and get the towers and do everything you can

That's not what was said, seasonal phases are time gated so that people can access the next part of the story progression at the same time it's not that the game isn't finished it's that the developers want you to play a multiplayer game with others at the same pace and not rush through everything by yourself

nope, it's just not finished most of these "live service" are never actually finished at release

A lot of people are intentionally doing this I feel, even if you show them the post they are rude and give you clown emojis (thanks for the steam points lol) but its their own problem if they absolutely refuse to read then I don't know why they're surprised when the game doesnt match what they IMAGINED in their head. Unfortunately steam communities are the second worst place for intelligent discussion after reddit, this game being F2P also means there's no bar to entry for the dumbest people to just pop in and say whatever

With all due respect, then they either need to get a life or just play something else. While I agree it's a strange way to keep the game lasting it's not only healthy for us but also kinda smart.
