Once Human not loading/stuck at "Verifying Downloading Files"

I've literally tried every video tutorial, nothing works. I really want to play this game so badly but idk what to do. Plz help if u have any info.

Just remember that this is NetEase (chinese owned). The same company that took CCP's (Iceland owned) EvE Online IP and turned it into a <bleep> show that is EvE Echoes.

I had to do some disk maintenance on the drive that I installed this game on and reboot. Somehow the directory structure got corrupted and I had to run disk tools to fix it.

Run steam as an admin, it worked for me

Right click the steam desktop shortcut you made. Then select “run as administrator” then go to your library and play once human

If you change graphics settings it will load shaders each time you restart the PC.

Try uninstalling the game and reinstalling. Try to install on another drive. Verify steam files then restart game.

What are your PC specs? That might be an issue for some reason.

i did it and also use some vpn got fixed

Hi. For me worked this. Go to Once Human library Documents folder and deleted all folder with named patch_**** and the res folder. Run the game when it stuck unplugged ethernet cable with till the game noticed, then re-plug ethernet cable and retry downloading. It realised there are missing folders and started to download.
