Initially I was not in Red Sands, but since I was not getting oil I moved there. I am literally right next to an oil derrick, and my water pump is in a patch of oil sand 50 feet wide. Still nothing. I have moved it to different locations inside the oil patch like 10 times, still nothing.
I am about ready to pull my remaining hair out.
I would try a new water pump to see if it fixes the problem. I currently have my base on an oil derick spot and I can't find a spot in my territory to pump dirty water anywhere despite not having an oil patch spot nearby lol.
It could be a bug and the oil you see is not considered an oil spot.
And Hefutoxin how do you know its oil if it says dirty water, are you able to refine it?
Thanks.
So basically I guess you can't go by the black spots on the ground, you have to be very close to a major oil source. Kinda sucks because I found a nice spot for my base that wasn't crowded with 1000 other bases, guess I will have to join the condo association now.
90% of the map has no purpose once Red Sands is available.
Why can't we have the rest of the map opened, and give players more area to build.
