How long in meters is a foundation in the game?
Trying to figure out the range of certain base defenses.

if i may, there doesn't seem to be a specific mention of measurements regarding construction... it is somewhat odd games are doing this since about No Man's Sky (which uses 'Units' of measure, which are essentially metres anyway). Perhaps try to estimate based on the human's height, how many meters a foundation piece roughly is? It looks like about 2m for walls and floors, just walking under a doorway, for example. you can place a marker using middle mouse button and then stand back from it to work out distance, approx 3m for each block. I use this to see how far i need to be to meet conditions of certain mods.

Using the marker and measuring a foundation 10x10 blocks it was 35m along one edge and 50m corner to corner. The math checks out making each foundation 3.5m x 3.5m.
That annoyingly means the the 4x4 grid outline visible in build mode is 0.875 or 7/8 of a meter per foundation square AND each jump\increment of the Grid Snap is 0.14583...m or 7/48 of a meter :|
