Memetics Specialization Nodes Not Working
I have two memetic specializations that reduce the resource consumption the furnace uses to produce ingots and neither of them are showing that they are working.

One of my specializations is called, "Furnace: Precision Refining." It reduces resource consumption by 30% for both the charcoal furnace or the electric furnace. That is a 1.5w reduction from 5w, but nowhere is that reduction being reflected in my game. The power supply and the furnace still reflects 5w are being used.

Is this a reduction in power usage, or ore usage? If it is ore, there is no change being reflected in the amount of ore or wood used to make one ingot or charcoal. The Specialization description is not very clear. It sounds like everything should be reduced that is consumed during the smelting process, but none of it is reflected anywhere.

My second specialization is called, "Electric Furnace: Efficiency Lover." It is supposed to lower the electrical costs by 50%, reducing the 5w usage by 2.5w, but everything is still reflecting that there is no reduction in costs.

In total, with both of these specializations selected and "active," my smelting furnaces should only cost me 1w each if both of htem are intended for power consumption. One is worded in a way that it is unclear. Regardless, it does not appear to be working.

Anyone else notice this?

I actually have some memetics specializations for other furnaces I've built but no longer have those specializations anymore, but I still show the bonuses on those furnaces I've built afterwards!

I only bring this up because I have been redoing my specializations and it costs me special items to do. I am not excited to learn that I am wasting my selections on ones that do not work.

I have the precision refining, and it works fine for me, when i have materials for lets say 99 tungsten, i pop it and i imediately can pop 50 more, o pop them and i get for 30 more and so on untill i can only make 1.

Are you saying that your specialization reduces the cost for making ingots, as in, the number of ore it takes, or power consumption? One of my specializations is not clear, so maybe it is the amount of ore that is consumed. None of the words in my game reflect the reduction, so it is something that I am only supposed to notice? Hmm.

My second specialization is supposed to reduce the electricity consumption and nowhere is that being reflected, either, when I look at my furnace. It still says it is using 5w.

I will give it a try and report back. Thank you!!!

Thank you, @Kryzx -- the rebuilt furnaces are reflecting the specializations. One of my specializations IS a reduction in ore costs for only the metal ingots, not other products, and the 50% power reduction is also being reflected as well. Super!!! Thank you!

I take it as a bonus that in the future if you decide to change up your memetic specs (max of only 5 per season!) that you can still utilize their effects afterwards as long as you don't destroy them. This doesn't apply to the special item recipes unfortunately and those items only last 14 days (I think?), so those memetic specs may be better to hold onto until the 4th week of the season before you decide to change them. Once Phase 4 ends/Phase 5 starts, craft the memetic spec items once again to get you through the end of the season, then change those memetic specs.

Of course, I assuming you're running solo and you don't care to sell these items in vending machines for other players to get more EL. Players in a team/warband will probably say otherwise.

Building several furnaces and putting them somewhere in storage in your base seems like something to keep in mind for the future unless the devs will change this later on.

The "Yeld" part of precision refining is not working for me, dont see any difference in resource consumption.....
