Do you lose weapons in PvP?

Died in PvP from the Chaos thing, had a duo turn on PvP after surrounding me, rage quit. Logged back in, and then my gun was simply gone.

I've killed a few people in other PvP zones and have never seen or heard of weapons dropping from PvP?

Man, i got my first gold item - a sniper. Played around 100h already. Managed to upgrade that item to tier 10... and it dropped.... it f****g dropped... Are they kidding me?

This is the reason I wont do the pvp servers, weapons are expensive to calibrate

Thats the sense of PVP ;) Thats not ruining the game - be happy that u dont loose EVERYTHING as it normally should be

And how is that "Normal"? In what MMORPG you loose your items if someone kills you? Your legendary items.... It's dumb. I don't want to waste my life on a game, that can on a RNG ERASE 50h OF MY LIFE, just like that.
If your life is so meaningless, i gues it's ok... go ahead and "sense the PVP"

Everything would be better lol. That way you'd know what the consequences are and the reward would be much better. Currently why the hell would you willingly enter a gank state to have a chance at 1 item that you can't repair. Its no different from looting a weapon or armor crate.

Only difference being that rust and dayz are not mmos and it doesnt take 50H to grind and upgrade a weapon. Imagine losing your gear doing pvp in World of Warcraft lol

How the hell are you taking 50h to upgrade a SINGLE WEAPON to +10? I can make enough tungsten and 5k stardust OVERNIGHT. Literally offline.

Run Blackfell, grab everything in the safety of a no-pvp zone, run around the desert and mine tungsten in the safety of 99.9% of the whole damned map, in a non pvp state. Use your controllers or better yet, do one of the many methods of acquiring stardust passively, or if you're so unlucky you weren't graced with one of the 3 easy specializations to turn mats into stardust, find a buddy who does and give them the mats and something else on top to make their while. Everybody wins.

Finally, if you're really afraid of losing your stuff:
DO NOT WANDER INTO BATTLEFRONTS there's nothing there but PvP opportunities.
DO NOT GRAB THE CHAOS CORTEX that will toggle you chaos state.
DO NO TURN ON CHAOS STATE.

There ya go, no risk of losing anything, and you can still play in the Diet PvP events, like Cargo Scramble and the actual Warband Territory Conquest, where you risk losing nothing.
