ANNOYING Posts

Hello, does anyone know how to turn off the players posts everywhere on the floor ? I keep clicking on them all the time. Trying to talk to NPC, craft, loot BAM click on these posts.

Go into settings, then under the first tab scroll all the way to the bottom. There you can turn off the whispers.

Those are called Screen Whispers. Miamew3 has posted the solution above.

But remember that you then will miss that very helpfull Message 30cm in front of a chest that there is a chest :)

glad i seen this post... I have 50 of these stupid things in my house and they all say dumb stuff like, FARTY MC FART and placed right next to my crafting bench.

There are three dots near the bottom of the whisper, click that and blacklist the person and you won't see their whispers. I wouldn't turn them all off because there are times they are helpful

Yeah we might turn then on only on stuff where a code is needed xD

I'd love to see an option to rebind the 'read whisper' button to something else - the biggest offense for me is the way they often overlap interactable objects. I do enjoy reading them from time to time, so even a "Shift+F to read whisper" or a rebind for just whispers would be great.
