So... what happened to my territory?
I was doing really well last night, making progress, actually made my territory look more like a home and was really enjoying myself and thought as I logged off "Ohh boy, I sure can't wait to log in tomorrow morning and play some more!" Woke up, got a coffee, then all the sudden upon logging in more than 25% of my territory has been busted open, Chest containing items are gone (luckily the vault had them otherwise I would have ripped my hard drive out of my computer in a fit of rage) Plants that I planted were gone, solar panels were destroyed, all my walls on the front of the house were busted open along with some of the floor, I'm afraid to make expansions anymore on my own place because of this now, I just wanted to know if there is a legitimate reason as to why this happened? And don't give me the "Why don't you just save the blueprint?" That's fair, but it should be due to natural causes, not an oopsie from an update.

i have a theory that people have been going around griefing by building their base right next to someone elses and then triggering the purification event, which would make enemies spawn outside their base (and potentially inside yours)

.... but then also I've seen buildings that i know have been there since launch that HAD normal looking build parts but they've been moved somehow (roofs angled away from base rather than towards it, stairs on the outside leading nowhere with big holes in the first floor, etc)

If that's so then these ♥♥♥♥♥ need to be banned for their actions, wish there was a way we could see, This is why I don't play games like this, it is ALWAYS the community that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ruins these games. I've seen nothing but actual mental illness in the world chat, people not having a single clue of what to do during prime wars, and I don't know how much longer I'm going to stay in this game anymore If I have to deal with people who have actual problems in their brains that feel they need to ruin games for everyone else.

Same happened to me, support says its a bug. Sucks to have 50% of my base missing and reverted to the one i had last night. All that building for nothing.

Couple of things, maybe one of your neighbors did a purification effect and it spilled forward into your base, maybe a random event spawned nearby, maybe one of your deviants brought a stray (or 4) home while harvesting, that happened to me yesterday. Of course if you never bothered to set up active base defenses then bad stuff happens... My base looked like a Swiss cheese for days after I moved from a hill to a flat location to upgrade to stone, so no mystery there :steamhappy:

I wonder if it's related to the territory bug - I had a similar thing happen, - when I logged in today, all of the stuff that had been built in my base before the bug hit was gone (and any parts of my new base that were built on foundations from the old base), and (I think) the contents moved into my vault. I didn't receive any sort of mail about the 'fix' though, or any of the promised compensation. Maybe after all territory repair/demolishing is done they'll send out a batch email letting people know it's been fixed.

Support said it will take about 2-3 days and if not, we will have to be in contact with them.
