Once Human

Netease and the CCP what are you up to?
I'm sorry, but why do you need to collect our data? In the last 10 years I have yet to see any other game ask me for my data to play a game. It's so damn odd!

It's shocking how fast the game shut down when I hit the refuse button. No?! GET OUT OF HERE!

Brother
do you life in China?

if yes, then the regional law demands that this data must be collected.
You don't live in China? THEN IT DOESN'T APPEAL TO YOU.

You play Civ 6. They do the same thing.

This is something that they should be more clear about. It's their own fault for causing the confusion. As if they expect gamers to know actual laws. Your average person in any country doesn't know anything until they get in trouble for it ;)

Also, what happens when/if your country decided to make a law demanding the same? You already accepted this ToS so good luck keeping track of all this digital age bs.

This game isn't only about the western players ok? There are countries that actually demand these things, South Korea and China be one of them. So they made that ToS (which obviously you either didn't read right or can't seem to understand) clause for countries that DO. They only collect it if YOU GIVE it willingly. Like posting on your social media where you are and who you with and what you're doing this very minute. Now that's giving your info freely.

If you don't give it, they can't have it. If you don't live in those countries effected with that section of the ToS, it doesn't effect you. >.>;

Make a better complaint about this game instead of pushing the lack of understanding.

Then you take your complaint to your government, not the game devs. >.>; The game dev is only complying to the countries that demand these requirements. Ofc, they should state which country because apparently a lot of people don't know their basic laws of their country, and therefore use "ignorance of law" thing.

I don't have a complaint, but thanks for the advice. If it comes to it, I'll figure out where to go. In the meantime, I"m sure I'll let others know as well, what the devs are doing just so everyone can make up their own mind. Do you have some kind of special relationship with developers? They are also a part of all this, you do realize that?

This the type of person who creates an account on a social media app then makes a post on said app about how they're "stealing his data". Smh.
