Water purification, well Pure Water is better for Boiled Water for plant growth, and is also required for specific recipes. But really it is just better to hand gather the water, have it go to a tank, and the tank go into a water purification machine.
Blueprint upgrades, you should be getting Purple( Epic ) or Yellow ( Legendary ) blueprints from ingame drops or from the Wish machine, then you upgrade the Tier of the weapon as you progress, the Rarity and the Tiers make a Very large difference in DMG, the Crit and such stats stay the same although you can change the traits.
Hard more just unlocked with Week 3, and Pro mode will unlock on Week 4.
As far as the blueprints go, I wouldn't worry about recrafting if you unlock another star on the weapon/gear. Like you've witnessed, the bonus damage isn't all that huge from a 1-star to a 2-star with no other changes. However, the blueprint stars will roll over every season, so you'll eventually be able to have a slight edge from playing more and unlocking more blueprints to get a purple 6-star compared to a newer player that's just starting out with the same blueprint @ 1-star. Again, like Kalafax said, unlocking the higher rarity weapons/gear (yellows) & making the highest tier will provide the biggest bonuses rather than upgrading the blueprint stars.
That was the very question I was going to ask, so thanks for that. I'll just ignore Platforms for now.
I can only assume the mining platform is similar. Sure, passive. True. Also true that is like 800x less efficient than running around pressing F for quite literally 5 minutes
definitely. get a solar drill if possible with the mining perks on it. I have a solar drill with 15% higher yield of copper, tin, iron, aluminum and tungsten, and also has another perk that makes 100% yield of gold silver and stardust ore, lol. It's OP AF.
Also solar so recharges itself. If you can make it to pve 1 0026 somehow ill give you one through my vending machine.
press F get hundreds of ores ♥♥♥♥♥ tight unforch no silver smithing perk for me so cant use the silver ore at all as far as im aware :|
-Mining platform was destroyed in Starchrom Purification event, not gonna build anymore.
-Single upgrades on Weapon Blueprints seems useless atm, going from Purple to Gold was huge leap. So just gonna put resources on Calibration atm. Maybe later for last maxing out BP Upgrades will work better
