Dungeon useless
I mean the simple fact that you can't repair the weapons you can get in the instances makes the whole thing useless, you get the necessary legendary mods quickly, and the rest you get in there you get faster and better in other ways.
If you also consider that you need a quite rare item, the whole thing becomes even more ridiculous, you can already see in the game that hardly anyone wants to go to the instances, and for good reason, they are not worth the effort

The SMG I got was really good, but broke very quickly. I also wasted materials to calibrate it thinking it would last longer.

Where could you get Stardust quicker as lvl 40 player?

There's a specialization that lets you craft Stardust from Acid. A buddy and me have been farming Acid from defense missions and then converting all the Acid we into Stardust. 20 Acid = 200 Stardust. It's a pretty good conversion rate.

You can

The whole point of that system is to force you to make your own weapons, using the resources you've gathered, while still giving you a chance to try out weapons for free that you may not have the blueprint for yet or decided to pass over.
Maybe you'll find that you like it and make your own.
If you don't have the blueprint yet, maybe you'll go track it down afterwards, which keeps you playing the game.
Maybe you just need a little extra firepower to get you through the dungeon and the game says "Here ya go!"
Maybe...just maybe...it's a decent little system if you just give it a chance.
Heck, I would have stuck with an Epic MP7 Div Evo if I hadn't pulled the Vertex Icy Rain out of a chest and given it a go. I found that the Frost Vortex proc from the Icy Rain was more useful than the Shrapnel proc of the Div Evo. Tracked down the Icy Rain BP in Chalk Peak and made the switch. Thanks game!

If you mean by using the Deviant will repair equipment, they patched that out. It no longer works.

My issue is that a ton of weapons that I'd like to make don't have blueprint version. Example the legendary fireaxe, the katana, the crowbar, and the Kukri... yes they are all Melee weapons...but them lacking a blueprint makes them pointless. Some of them even have really cool abilities. Like the Crowbar is the only weapon that causes BLEED DAMAGE.
I'd love to run around with a bleed crowbar melee build (running a melee build as it is, and am currently hitting 70k with the purple fire axe). but why make a build based around a weapon I can't repair, and can never craft apparently?

In the end it seems that farming at the end of the game is about getting mods, and that alone is very strange, not ways to farm blueprints or anything exclusive to bosses at high levels like blueprints. The game revolves around mods, and the blueprints locked in Starchrom, which you only win every 7 days or doing primewars (when the server you are on decides to join to do it) in mine is very rare. I don't understand why the dg and the raid are closed in the mod farm and there is no exclusive blueprint to farm.

THE POINT IS TO SCRAP THE GUN FOR ITS BLUE PRINT
you then apply it to another weapon of the same type to gain its function and you have a gun you can repair

you can get the same calibrations off normal guns out in the world the ones on the legendary guns are the same what they should do is change it to everytime you break the gun down you get 5 shards added

Breaking down the weapon for blueprint shards makes sense. As it stand right now, getting stars on your blueprints to make your gear better just doesn't happen...the only way to get extras is the wishmachine which is hella limited.

There's a deviant that is obtainable from those elites with the furnace on their head. This lets you repair things you have no blueprint for.

Not anymore they nerfed it like 3 patches ago to not do that anymore.

Sure but it's illogical to be able to destroy a gun you don't own but you can't repair a gun because you don't own it? That's ass backwards.

mining - I can get 3500 stardust ore in half hour with can oil fish and hunter treasure drill. However, your need meme skill to burn them into stardust.
