I had that happen turn game off leave it 5 mins then relog as normal and your char should be back
Your character isn't gone. The game freaks out if you crash in Eternaland.
If you look on the main menu, the area that shows the server is actually a button.
Click it, then find the server with your character. Click it and Enter Game.
You're not the first person to crash in Eternaland. I've done the same and that was the fix.
Have fun!
I can build but I haven't tried to move my base. I moved my base days before the maintenance, so I'm hoping that I dodged the bug.
Now, I'm finding that I need to relocate for new resources. And I'm kinda scared to try cuz if it fails, I'm boned. My base is fairly large.
Your call man :) I don't want to be an alarmist I just know that on my end it makes the game pretty damn hard to enjoy. Can't expand, build defenses, trigger invasions, etc. But hands down the most annoying part? Because my base is not technically my territory for whatever reason, it does NOT recognize resources in crates when doing anything at workbenches.
For me that means every single time I want to craft/cook literally anything, all of the things have to be in my inventory, and there are a LOT of components in this game.
Just consider all of those before you do, is my advice, and I hope like hell you can relocate with no issues!
