Rain collector is not collecting

My journey task is to use the rain collector to collect the rain once however i didn't see any items to access even after i wait for 1h while it's raining.

It takes time to fill up the collector and then time for the water to collect in the reservoir. There should be a timer when you open the collector's menu.

Rain collectors don't need to be connected to water storage to function as they have 4 slots of built in storage.

Well, mine work just fine so I don't know if it's a bug or not.

I have the same problem. The starting area has a lot of rainfall and my rain collector hasn't ever collected any rain.

so i'm not the only one.

i fixed mine by disconnecting all the pipes, and relocating it but as soon as you connect the pipes it stops working

From my own experience with this journey task -- it has to be collected during or immediately after the rainfall. Waiting too long to collect from it results in the absence of content.
Additionally, if you have a pipe that is collecting from it, you'd need to disconnect that, as you need to collect directly from the raincatcher for the task.

it didn't work since i first started the game .i didn't see the dirty water in the rain collector at all .it's so frustrated
