its not a battle royale / looter shooter extraction so its nothing like pubg. and if you mean the way it looks / plays you could say its a rip off / spin off of any game thats similar

Uh... Like the post above me said, give it a go. I can say, for pve it just an online survival game. Nothing too challenging, maybe when you get to tougher higher level bosses at 40+, some event bosses are a bit of a headache(Chiron event, I was with a bunch of lvl 50s that are maxed and we still pretty much struggled coz too many suicide bombers..).
The PVP is on their own separate server and only in one event for pve, which is the Cargo Scramble.
There's a lot of nods or Easter Eggs to other games in Once Human. The Backrooms main quest is a big headache, that's for sure.
