Is it too late to start?

Hey guys, i heard there's wipeout things. I haven't play the game yet, just finished download.
As i'm going to play the game today, is there any tips which i shouldn't invest much on, since its going to wiped out?

its not too late at all you keep most of the important stuff u find anyway only thing that wipes is the character level and basic materials. Also each wipe is new content.

Look for friendly players giving away drills and chainsaws, it'll help you out early game with resource gathering!

Leveling goes quick if you just stick the the main questline. If you get board do you commissions (weeklys) and side quests in towns.

Don't listen to the people complaining about wipes, the devs have stated what we are keeping after wipes a d if that sounds fine to you then I highly reccomend this game. My only problem is that the devs use artificial difficulty to make bossfights harder, ie. Insane amounts of hp so you need a ton of ammo to kill them which also drags the fight out so you can potentially run out of heals, I should also note that im not very far into the game but this is just what i've noticed so far. but the rest of the game is great so I can live with that. The community is very helpful, always answering questions no matter how obvious the answer is (ive seen numerous people ask how to get OFF the motorcycle) I've also quite a few people willing to give away spare materials to players in need.

Game plays extremely quick, within 15~ hours you'll catch up for the "main" progression
