How to mark enemies?

Seen a thread talking about how some deviations do, but nowhere in the description does it specifically say it marks.

Its a skill on some weapons. In blueprints look at the purple crossbow and the legendary aws sniper. Both have a form of mark. If the skill for the weapon reads "marks target" it works. The purple crossbow blueprint can be found if you google it. So you shoot to mark em, switch to the weapon you want the boosted damage, pew pew.

Also Im sure there are more weapons with mark. But choosing mark *unless its a sniper* over ricochet, freeze, etc its probably not a great move. Weapon swapping on the other hand is fantastic.

Just looked at both the weapons I mentioned. Its called the "The Bull's Eye" ability on weapons.

Supposedly the Mr Wish deviant also marks enemies for you.

There are other deviants that mark as well. Whatever the one that attacks with a tentacle (Forget its name) says it marks as well. Might be more

He does indeed "Mark Targets" but doesn't proc the effect that requires you to kill Marked Targets. Just tested it. Seems to be exclusive to Bullseye weapons

Is "marking enemy" just a stat-feature, as in "marked with bull's eye"?

Because sometimes I see enemies having some sort of red or orange V symbol over them, and I first would have called this 'marking'. This happens seemingly completely random.

tHIS WAS my best "guess" as well because the translations are so f**king terrible you have to just guess.

yeah you use your bulls eye weapon, to know for 100% an enemy is marked they will start to glow blue and you can even see them through walls with this effect.
