Unbuildable roofs

the roofs (not ceilings) are a huge pain to build they refuse to rotate to actually face the right direction and they will place anywhere but where I am looking

Same issues. I guess I'll just use ceiling tiles to cover it until they fix up this system

flight mode+max distance. Also if youre perfectly level with it and looking the same direction, it tends to stay facing that direction.

For me it was easiest to build them off too opposing walls to get them all aligned.

It takes a bit of playing with to figure it out, it's pretty bad.

There are tricks, like flying kinda helps, and building another ceiling tier before the roof. But in the end it's still frustrating as you fight the system

There is always a way, but it may take a lot longer than just being able to place it in the right direction :D

Yeah the small roof always points the wrong way no matter what. I got it to work by building a small ceiling piece on the wall and attaching the roof to that.

and using shift-scroll instead of the scroll.

Yeah I'm still trying to figure out a way to deal with those. And some roof parts are clearly missing. They need to add a bunch of those to complete some set.

Anyway, if anybody figures a good way to deal with roofs, let us know lol.
