Weapon Crates
I've frequently received gear out of gear crates, but I'm lvl 50 now and I've yet to receive a single weapon out of a weapon crate. Only mods... Is this how it is for everyone else or is my game bugged?

That's how it is. Weapons themselves can drop from Mystical Crates, though.

I think gear are rare drops and you need to craft gear!
