If you want them in-game world (not eternaland) you can find cucumber seeds for sure at one of the npc shops, you can buy 3 for 3,000 (1,000 each) energy links. Dunno about tomatos but you can prolly find the seeds somewhere. I noticed some plants so far like cucumber seeds i only saw in the shop.

Dang, so I cannot use the seeds from my Eterland backpack or even drop them into this world? I tried with one seed and disappeared :((( How do I use them in my world?

You can use the ones you bought from NPC in the normal world if you bought it in the normal world.
The eternaland ones I guess just plant them there but idk never been there yet
