Fences inside ground and dont adjust height

Hey guys, I am wanting to build outside fences but when I try to place a wood fence or reinforced fence they are half inside the ground and the keys to adjust height are not working, someone have the same problem?

Hi men. Go into build mode, go into fly mode. Select the fence. And search for a tall tree or a big rock. And try to adjust the camera to make it be 'built' higher.
I have the exam problem, this is how i fixed it

Nice, I tested and worked, sadly I dont have a flat terrain to use it well

Forget about using it on uneven terrain, its pain in the ass

Put a foundation down, place the gate against the foundation then move the foundation, then when connecting the walls to the gate they will be at correct height. Just worked fine for me.
