Crossbow ( Arbalete ) versus Bow ( Arc )

Hello
Until now I had the crossbow as range weapon, it was easy to use and very efficient .
Target reached at a rate of 95 % I would say
Now I got the curbed bow , with a circle for aiming and the rate falls at 20 or 30 %
How do I use the bow small circle so , if someone can give me a tip ?

Both are level 2 and calibrated at max and with mod. Without mod the crossbow was anyway better ...
