Any Intel on what will actually happen with cosmetics at season end?

I want to preface this by saying I am addicted to this game and enjoy it a lot. However, the other day I bought some cosmetics assuming they would be available to any characters I made, which I found out I was mistaken about. I was forced to make a new character to play with my son due to server population restrictions, and that new character did not have any of my paid cosmetics. I read through as many posts as I could find about the end of season wipes, but I can't seem to find any info on what will happen to cosmetics. I don't like that they can't be shared between characters, though...the prices in the shop ($15 for most skin sets) seem very high for a character that's going to be wiped. Theoretically at the end of the season I could use the skins in Eternaland (although I can't find that confirmed anywhere), but Eternaland is not really the game.

I'm really hoping to find out that at the end of the season, characters created in the next season will inherit all cosmetic skins previously owned, but I'm really doubting that based on what I know so far.

So anyway, does anyone know for sure what happens to cosmetics at the end of the season? Because I'm really hesitant to spend more money on them now that I know they could be made worthless if a new friend joins and we all have to hop servers to join that friend because ours is full. Once again, I really like this game and I'm hoping to be able to continue supporting it.

wait cosmetics tied to 1 character? i never heard of this, thats scary, that doesnt sound right.
as for like the character with progress on it, many have said that cosmetics and such carry over.

People would RIOT AND DROP this g ame, if their paid cosmetics did NOT travel over with their character. So yes, they do in fact stay with you, along with your entire enternaland once season wipes happen.

HOWEVER, as far as I know, haven't checked myself, but if you make a new char your cosmetics DO NOT carry to THAT new character. It has to be the character you bought them on. I know alot of people would love account wide items, but for this mmo, it is not the case. FFXIV has a few account wide mounts, but their costumes do not carry over to new chars. so it's not just ONCE huMAN

they said that cosmetics and blueprints will carry over through the resets. we'll see, I suppose.

The devs mentioned in one of their post that they are working on this, they intend for cosmetics to be account wide

Originally, having multiple characters are to be locked for a month because it's not fully implemented. But because everyone complained, they unlocked it incomplete. Having cosmetics on all characters will be ready next month

you are meant to join a NEW server with your character after the season wipe happens. Its how it works, thus why ppl are gearing up and planning with friends to join servers with one another. XDD Your character is separate entity at this point. Ik its really weird lolol

Yeah lolol 'THE' character you bought them on. but one other commenter said they would be account wide cosmetics, so now im wondering if its true! XD ill have to read up for sure lol

They have posted on this. They are expecting an update in early August to fix battle pass and cosmetics to be account wide. They launched only intending players to have 1 character which is why there are some issues currently.

ah which in turn was why everyone complained, cause i love to look into news and info, and so many people were complaining xd which no real hate, cause imagine not joining your friend and yall are separated, kinda sucks

So in summary OP, from what I gathered from all the info...
Soon cosmetics will be account wide and any character you make will own them.
They do stay with you once season wipe happens! Also your entire enternaland as well as any other furniture, blueprints and recipes you have collected! So no worries!
